Speed Nation SBX Sun Peaks is the 1st Snowboard Cross (SBX) stop of the Tour. This Event brings together the best SBX athletes in North America to compete in 2 races over 3 days. Please note there is a SBX RAD camp immediatly following this event. The RAD camp will be held January 6-10.

Sun Peaks is a resort community located 45 minutes from Kamloops, in BC’s interior. Known for its stress-free mountain experience, the charming pedestrian village includes hotels and lodges, and over 40 locally-owned shops and restaurants.
Sun Peaks is Canada’s second largest ski area with 4,270 acres of diverse ski terrain. But it is not just for winter enthusiasts. Sun Peaks has activities throughout the year.
Sun Peaks can be accessed by two airport gateways - Kamloops (45 minutes) and Kelowna (2.5 hours) and also by car; only a four-hour drive separates Sun Peaks and Vancouver, B.C.
This past summer Sun Peaks embarked on a major project to build their snow cross course on Sundance Mountain permanently from dirt, in partnership with Powder Ventures Excavations, a local company operating for 25 years and deeply committed to the community. The new Powder Ventures Cross Course will open to guests this winter.
