Rider Bio

Liam continues to build toward his next chapter both on and off the hill. His impact extends beyond competition through his nonprofit initiative, supporting Indigenous youth and creating meaningful opportunities in snowboarding.
 

Who introduced you to snowboarding?
My Dad, by watching him on his snowboard, my mom, who took me to the hill for my first snowboard experience, and Santa for putting my first snowboard under the Christmas tree. 

What does snowboarding mean to you?
Community and belonging. It's who I am, so everything. 

Where is your favourite place to snowboard?
Sunshine Village

If you could go snowboarding with anyone, who would it be? Why?
My family because I never get days with them anymore. 

What are 3 things we probably didn’t know about you?

• I'm the son of a Polish refugee immigrant mother and a Dene First Nation father 
• I collect coffee mugs during my snowboard travels.
• During the off-season I work on a farm baling hay and as an electrical apprentice.
