Covered for Every Line with Intact Insurance

January 29, 2026

When you think of Canadian snowboarding powerhouses, Laurie Blouin’s name comes to mind. And now, she’s got a new teammate off the snow: Intact Insurance — a national partner of Canada Snowboard and Team Canada.

This partnership means Blouin and the rest of the Canadian snowboard team can focus on what they do best, pushing the limits on snow, across all disciplines, while Intact ensures athletes have the stability and resources to chase Olympic gold in Milano Cortina.

A trailblazer on the international stage for nearly a decade, Blouin has already made history for Canada. She debuted at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, snagging silver in women’s slopestyle — Canada’s first-ever Olympic medal in the discipline. Not stopping there, she claimed the country’s first world title in women’s big air in 2021, cementing her spot among the global elite.

“I am grateful for this opportunity to partner with Intact as I prepare for my third Olympics,” said Laurie Blouin. “Many people don’t realize how important strong financial and moral support is throughout this journey. Partnerships like this help level the playing field and allow athletes to focus on performing at their best while representing Canada.”
“Partnerships like this are critical to the continued success of Canadian snowboard athletes,” said Dustin Heise, CEO of Canada Snowboard. “Intact Insurance’s commitment to supporting athletes on and off the snow helps ensure our riders have the stability and resources they need to perform at the highest level on the world stage. We’re proud to work alongside a partner that shares our belief in the power of sport to inspire the next generation of Canadians.”

Intact Insurance has been a multi-year national partner of the Canadian Olympic Committee and Team Canada, starting with Milano Cortina 2026. And yes, Blouin will be front and center in Intact’s Olympic ad campaign early next year.

The countdown is on: Milano Cortina 2026 kicks off February 6, and Laurie — along with Team Canada’s snowboarders — are ready to make more history.
